Install NinjaTrader 8

NinjaTrader 8 is the platform that runs our automated strategies. It's free to download and use for simulation trading.

Installation Steps:

Visit ninjatrader.com/download
Download NinjaTrader 8 (not NinjaTrader Desktop)
Run the installer and follow the prompts
Create a NinjaTrader account when prompted
Launch NinjaTrader and connect to simulation data

Important: Make sure you install NinjaTrader 8, not NinjaTrader Desktop (which is a newer, different product). Our strategies are built for NinjaTrader 8.

Download NinjaTrader 8

Download & Import Strategies

You'll need to login to access your strategy downloads.

Importing into NinjaTrader:

Download the strategy .zip file(s) from your account
Open NinjaTrader 8
Go to Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On
Navigate to your downloaded .zip file and select it
Click "Open" to import
Repeat for each strategy file

Register Your Machine ID

Our strategies are licensed to specific computers using NinjaTrader's Machine ID. You'll need to register your Machine ID to activate the strategies.

Finding Your Machine ID:

Open NinjaTrader 8
Go to Help > About
Look for "Machine ID" - it's a long alphanumeric code
Copy this code

Registering Your Machine ID:

Multiple Computers? You can register multiple Machine IDs depending on your subscription level. Check your account for details.

Configure & Start Trading

Now you're ready to configure and run your strategies!

Loading a Strategy:

Open a chart for your desired instrument (e.g., ES, NQ, MNQ)
Right-click on the chart and select Strategies
Find your imported strategy in the list
Configure the strategy parameters
Set your account (Sim101 for simulation)
Click "OK" to enable the strategy

Pro Tip: Always test new strategies in simulation mode first! Get comfortable with how they work before going live.
