Hi Tom - I just noticed that the Phoenix Trade Alerts are recommended for options traders. I'm wondering whether this is directed at futures options or normal index options such as SPX? I started trading options 3 years ago with Amy Meissner's A14 with good success. I've developed other trades subsequently, but all are fundamentally market neutral. I'm wondering how well Phoenix Trade Alerts will work for SPY or SPX trades with directional structures such as put of call spreads? Have you done any testing?
Title should read "Use Phoenix Trade Alerts for Options" :)

Hi William!
My thinking for the trade alerts are primarily for option traders who don't want to bother setting up ninjatrader, getting a data feed, running a trading strategy etc etc etc.
With Phoenix's 67% win rate and NQ/ES correlation at 93% on 5-min bars, it's very favorable to trade simple SPX verticals. Even losing futures trades often have max favorable excursions (MFE) of 5+ points on ES which is usually enough to lock in some money!
Cloudflare was blocking my ninjatrader messages to my server. It thought I was a bot attacking my server lol.... I think I have it sorted out but there weren't any live trades yesterday so hopefully I'll get a good test today.
Cheers

I finally figured out what the problem was with posting trades from my local NinjaTrader to my server/slack. The test trades I made near the end of the session made it fine....sooooo.. I'm anticipating the trades should start working for tomorrow's trading.
Fingers crossed.
