I was curious if there has been any testing done on different time charts for BG(breakout guardian)? I looked at historical for last 30 days on 3min and it did 2x profit and same drawdown that the 5min did. Obviously some months are going to be better/worse for different charts and Tom probably took into consideration all types of factors and chose the 5min as the most stable. I do like the 5min chart as well. I figured I'd just post up on the forum and hopefully get some discussions going about these bots.

Same when I was randomly looking at stats in NT8 at Hunter (MNQ). 5min chart did pretty well, then I checked 30min chart for last 30 days and it was 2x the profit and half the drawdown. Was interesting to see. I'm going to stick to how they were created by Tom, but I like to contrast and compare to see how they behave in different market conditions, time frames, time slots for trading, so on and so forth. Again, this is me being curious and nothing more.

Does anyone have some time under their belt testing these? What are your thoughts on them?
