Phoenix v2.1.8 is now available!
This release bundles several fixes and improvements since v2.1.1. Here's what changed:
Bug Fixes
- Setup alerts now display correctly in the Output window and chart overlay — A bug introduced in v2.0.9 prevented setup forming and expired messages from appearing for all customers, even with Show Setup Status enabled. This has been corrected.
- SETUP CANCELED now fires when a MeanRev pattern dissipates — Previously, if a forming MeanRev setup faded before triggering an entry, no cancellation message was sent and the alert would silently persist until the 3:00 PM entry window closed. You will now receive an immediate notification.
- SETUP CANCELED now fires when a MeanRev pattern extends too far — If the pattern continued building well beyond the trigger threshold after a setup alert was sent, no cancel was issued. This is now handled correctly as well.
New Features
- Output Tab routing — A new Output Tab property (Advanced group) lets you choose which NinjaTrader Output window tab receives Phoenix messages. Defaults to Output 1. Handy if you're running NQ and ES instances simultaneously — assign each to a separate tab to keep their output from mixing.
- Instrument name in startup banner — The real-time startup confirmation now includes the instrument and contract, for example:

Upgrading
Download the latest version from the Downloads page. Before installing, delete the existing Phoenix files from your NinjaTrader templates\Strategy\ folder and restart NinjaTrader. This ensures your strategy properties load cleanly with the updated defaults.
